Barry grew up in a small farming community in middle England. He spent seven years learning British military discipline, followed by stints in media, sales and with the local municipal authority. Barry holds an honours Bachelor degree from the University of Plymouth. He moved to Canada in late October 2008 and enjoys the prairies. He draws on the experience of the team at Linview as well as his conversations with local farmers over coffee. He lives in Linden with his wife, Christine.
